This was not a design flaw of the system, nor was it a failure of an original part of the fuel system. the line that is clogged, I replace a while back due to a leak in the stainless line. I was in a hurry and had it done at a local farm supply store with hydraulic line and fittings. Which is fine, but I guess the guy that did it crimped it in the wrong spot and pinched it.
