Update......and lol...more like the "total lost it club" Yesterday I started it up to look at rpm like you said...I was sitting there smile'n watching the needle NOT move- flicker that is...smilin' that the truck is still running! HEEEHAWWW so there is no crank sensor issue or at least we think from the rpm needle staying calm............ I then walk around the truck thinking this sounds good..then BAM! all on it's own it shuts down...blink of eye...faster than one can do a house switch! I was like damn.....ya's was doing so good...sounded good....so I restarted it.....then it ran for 20 mins till I shut it down Today...very cold....thought i try......same thing started great....ran two min...Bam! shuts down faster than the wink of an eye...I restart it....runs great 2 mins....bam! shuts down...so I start one more time...starts right up fast...now it's running as I type...getting close to 20mins again....sounds good question does undo'n one of the batteries "CLEAR" the codes? better than my friends OBD thing? Was thinking if we could get this down to one idea.....code...like this rust with cam sensor...that really makes me think it's in that direction! Hey? dumb question.....just popped in my head....when I shut down tractors I have to pull a cable...but on vehicles that is electronic right? some sort of plunger? Can that cause the sudden shut downs?
