2005 Bulletproof 6.0 CCLB XLT 16k obo
Selling my 2005 XLT Crew Cab Long Bed Powerstroke automatic. Very nice, solid truck. Power windows, locks, mirrors, seats. No rust, was a California truck until I bought it in 2012. 147k miles. Everything that has been done to this truck was for longevity/reliability/towability. All mechanical work was completed at Joe Machens Ford in Columbia. Heads were pulled in 2013 before there were any issues. Inspected, and reinstalled with new oem gaskets, and arp head studs. EGR ******, blue spring fuel regulator upgrade, oil cooler upgrade, high pressure oil pump was removed, and upgraded, 4" turbo back straight pipe, complete Banks technicooler inter cooler with high ram intake, SBR CAI intake, SCT tuner, with Edge digital gauge cluster. Sinister Diesel coolant filter. Trans has been serviced every 45k since new. transfer case serviced last year, diff fluids good. Oil every 5k, fuel filters every 10. 4x4 auto hub seals replaced. 2 brand new Motocraft MAX batterys last month. New Ford calipers/rotors/pads last summer. Have ONLY ever put Ford brand parts, and fluids through it. Wheels are off a 2014 F350 Platinum, tire tread is roughly 60%. Also includes the stock oem wheels, BFG's are less then 10%, and the silver Century brand camper shell in the picture. This truck needs NOTHING. Getting a motor home, don't need to keep this. NO TRADES please. Unless you happen to be sitting on an early model Holiday Rambler Diesel pusher. Clean clear title in hand, no accidents.---------------------------------------------A little more on the trucks history. It is easier to describe over the phone, but I have had an overwhelming amount of response to my ads, and don't want to have to text all of this to each individual. The truck was originally a California buy back truck. It was bought back from the original owner through California Lemon Law. Every state has lemon laws to protect consumers. Some states are stricter then others. California, has a VERY strict set of guideline for their laws. It reads that if a consumer has any dissatisfaction with a product, and feels the manufacturer has not taken care of the issue to their liking, the manufacturer is required by law to buy it back. What this leads to in a strict state, is people abusing the system. When I worked at Ford I watched a lot of these trucks, and cars come in for silly reasons. This truck was bought back when it was 7 years old, and had 105k miles. It was conveniently turned in as a rav (re-acquired vehicle) when the warranty ran out at 100k. The reason for this being turned in was an overheat complaint. As the new owner will see from the complete Ford Oasis I have printed out, this truck was NEVER treated for overheat issues prior to being bought back. I saw a lot of vehicles turned in for silly reasons. One truck came through, it had been bought back with 156k miles, from the 3rd owner. Like with my truck, at that stage in its life, I dont feel the manufacturer should be responsible for it any longer. THE TITLE IS CLEAR, NOT BRANDED. It will show on the carfax I have that it was bought back, but not on the title as carfax suggests. Anyways, it has been a great truck. I have had 2 issues with it in the 4 years of ownership. One was the turbo needed to be cleaned. The second was the starter that went out in 2014. All the Modifications were done in the interest of never having to deal with the famed 6.0 issues. I would take this truck anywhere, and have. I just returned from a trip to California the beginning of this month. Thanks for reading my novel here. Message, or post with any additional requests, and questions. $16,000 OBO
