I purchased my 2006 4X4 CCSB Lariat F350 about 5 months ago and the truck was completely stock besides a cheap turbo back exhaust and a AFE intake, and Fabtech 6" lift. The truck has 140K miles on it and I just started installing all the parts.

I first started ordering parts as soon as I got the truck to try and "Fix" all the 6.0 issues as well as replace all the worn out parts from all the miles. First the truck had a bad death wobble so I replaced all the ball joints, U-joints, tie rods, steering stabilizers, red head steering box, and all new bilstein shocks all the way around with new rotors and pads since the brakes where worn out as well.

For the engine side I ordered
River city egr delete
ARP standard studs
OEM head gaskets with stand pipes
Gasket kit for valve covers, manifolds, etc
OEM turbo bolts
STC Fitting and Dummy plugs
Thermostat
glow plug harnesses
Sinister coolant filter
OEM oil cooler rebuild kit
Updated turbo drain tube (Mine was built 11/05 so it had the crushed one)

The FICM was replaced about 2 years ago and it doesn't drop voltage so I did not replace that
The HPOP is holding just over 3900 psi at WOT so I did not order a new one either

To monitor everything I ordered a EDGE insight and added the egt prob and a fuel pressure sensor from glow shift for fuel pressure.

For performance I decided to go with

KC68 turbo
WPE stage 2 ported manifold
Jesse Warren 190/75 injectors with upgraded long side solenoids
Diamond eye 5" turbo back exhaust (They said it was a 4" downpipe in this kit but the one provided looks like 3.5")
New 7 layer oiled AFE filter for intake with pre filter sock
6.4 stock fuel pump before stock 6.0 pump
5/8 pickup tube (Use stock pickup for larger return)
Driven diesel regulated return

So far I have already installed all the suspension and the edge gauge as well as tore down the truck and installed the head studs and new gaskets I dropped the heads off at a local machine shop before to have them machined to make sure they are flat they said there is some minor cracking around the exhaust side valve seats but they held pressure so I did not have them replace them with harder valve seats due to cost. (I hope this doesn't come back to bite me later)..

I am waiting for the injectors to get here so I can put the rest of the truck back together right now the heads are on and just waiting so I can install the rest of the parts. I did the studs cab on in my drive way last week it took me a full day to tear down and remove the heads and then another day to install them after I got them back from the machine shop.

I already installed the 6.4 pump and pickup tube with larger lines and it bumped my fuel pressure to 59 psi without the regulated return so I am hoping with the regulated return it will hold pressure with the 190's. When I dropped the tank for the pickup tube I also did the harpoon mod to fill the tank a little more and this worked great!

Here are some photos of the truck and the work I did last week.
I also did the coolant flush before tearing it down and installed the filter then.

It wasn't too bad besides reaching over into the truck all day. For the trans I have not decided I was hoping it would last till I figure out who to use. Do you have any recommendations?

looks like a solid build, if you are looking for a trans we would be more than willing to help you out. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm not sure of anyone local in Arizona. The guys at twisted have been great to deal with though.

Ya I am guessing the trans is going to need work sooner then later once I get it all together. I am hoping it puts down at least 550 wheel with the 35's

The build looks good so far, I'm curious as to what your setup does! I'm running the same injectors, love them!

My old injectors where on there way out so I am hoping it runs much better with the new ones. What did your truck put down are you running a similar turbo too?
Thanks on the work I am learning as I go so trying to catch everything while its apart.

I'm running a 66mm turbo compared to your 68, so you should flow more air than I do. I haven't gotten a chance to dyno my current setup, I tried to dyno this past weekend - but the RiffRaff event got rained out. Kind of a bummer. As long as you/we can hold ICP and fuel pressure - I'm hoping for 600rwhp. We will see though, it depends on a lot of things.

Going to the track is the only way to know FOR SURE how much power you've got. Get that transmission upgraded before doing any hard runs. I may plan to hit the track this weekend... so we'll see.

Ya I checked everything before tearing it down and it was holding pressure with the stock injectors but the bigger ones will change everything. For fuel all I did was a 6.4 pusher pump in front of the 6.0 pump and 5/8 pickup and RR so I am hoping it will hold fuel psi. My trans is completely stock so I need to figure out what I am going to do with it. I hope it will hold so I can at least take it to the local track once I am done. This thing better run faster then my last truck or I am going to be upset

I hear ya man. Do you have a sump? Didn't see that on your list of things. A sump will help your pump out a good bit, let gravity do the work for ya. One other thing that I did, and I recommend to everyone, is getting the heads O-ringed before putting them back on. I wouldn't worry about not having it done if you didn't do it, but should you ever (hopefully won't) have to remove them again, be sure to o-ring them for extra protection.

Who's tunes are you running?

I did the 5/8 pickup tube instead of a sump so I might be changing that later down the road. The heads I really wanted to have them O-ringed but non of the shops here will do it so just had them pressure checked and machined flat. For tunes I have not tried anyone's yet I have only put 3k miles on the truck since I bought it so just ran the canned sct plus my truck was not studded. Charlie recommended gearhead I believe since I am lifted on 35's. I am open to suggestions since I have not tried anyone's.

Looks like a solid build, the only things I can think of that I would add that I didn't see there are a new waterpump, and possibly a regulated return to match your fuel pump setup.
