[QUOTE="TrueBlissCustoms, post: 241041, member: 3221"] So we've been servicing a local tow company's Ford trucks. He has several 450's and 550's in his fleet. Having a lot of issues with the 2011! Truck has about 21k miles on it and its eating through brake pads in the rear right like no tomorrow. At about 12,500 miles the inside brake pad wore through into the rotor and destroyed the rotor (but the outside pad was only about 1/2 way work out) Ford said it was all normal because it was being used as a tow truck.... and he came to us and we replaced the rotor, and put on a new set of pads on the both the left and right sides. All original Motorcraft. Well we're at about 21k Miles and the truck is back here today with the same issue. The inside pad is almost completely gone and wore through the rotor yet the outside has more than 50% life left on it. We called our local ford dealer and they said that it is normal for it to wear on the inside more than the outside because that is the side of the piston on the caliper, seems to us we have a bad caliper, any ideas????
