I installed the 3/8" Trans cooling lines today, kind of a PITA because I have
a 4" downpipe, but bent the crossover tube, (luckily, it's aluminum), and she fit right in there....

trans runs at least about 15 degrees cooler.

Thanks to Cary at CT Performance for the Idea, and the parts !!

I've been thinking about doing this, but running push loc and route it through the frame rail or something up to the front. Prolly do that and a tru-cool once i start towing some more.

Why run hose ? there's no reason to , the lines go in and come out just fine, and they don't stretch under pressure, or deteriorate within a short time like hose will, oh, and push-loc sucks.

I just did mine in my driveway, and I'm 65....anybody can do this .... $100.00 bux, done deal....

I did use the bypass Patrick, I feel that it's important to have it on there...

it's not a Temperature bypass...it's there to bypass the fluid if the cooler, or lines plug up somehow. in that scenario,
the fluid would route back to the trans, and you wouldn't burn it up from lack of fluid, it would run hotter, but it would at least still have fluid flow.

and in my case, it was tough to get the bypass in there, as I have a DIY 4" downpipe, but it fits fine, just hadda bent the bypass pipe.

I figured the lines would've been more than that, which is why i said push-lock.
