I do think that the newer trucks do have softer longer rear leaf springs and it wouldn't surprise me that the front end could be a little softer too. The newer trucks have more axle wrap with these softer springs. So if your entire drivetrain is resonating and you have softer springs you probably are going to feel the hop more then what you would feel in an older truck with stiffer springs. I am mainly interested in CCLB trucks. The other configurations are a hit or miss. But to go to the dealer and essentially (7) brand new CCLB trucks did it brand new off the lot...LOL. If you fix a CCLB truck then you could fix any of the others. My truck had a very pronounced 45 mph vibration when something was going wrong with my driveline. I had (1) u-joint going out. I have probably the most extreme braced CCLB superduty out there. I have a huge cradle, front and several braces in the rear. If bracing indeed canceled all that out then I would never have felt it. My entire truck would go up and down and essentially oscillate just like everyone elses. My driveline is not stock either.
