This is my thing, if an injector builder can build and test an injector that can deliver 400cc of fuel above 5500 rpm, I'd pay a price for it. I know Golfer has a some 7.3s now that are over 4 digit mark on fuel only, he won't tell but don't think they are gonna give up their secret stuff easily.. No one on here complains about Tims injectors idling funny or what not, and well most builders will stand behind most faulty injectors.. I drove my truck to full force in Mboro when I had idle issues, they delivered me 6 new tunes to my PHP that day and we messed with it free of charge for an hr in their shop and got it running smooth. We argue, bicker, and fight but all in all this chit is expensive, and most guy's who "build" injectors are truly craftsmen, whether it be a 7.3 huei monstrosity, or a P-pump or moding a CP3, the stuff is tricky and must be "right"... I don't dare criticize an injector builder because well this, I don't own a flow bench, two I've built maybe 15 injectors, and they were pop mechanical caterpillar junk, and three, it takes gobs of trial and error, TIME SPENT making absolutely NO money praying you build a product that will work. The risk involved is substantial, and god forbid if not one of these guys in the business ever said, why modify the 7.3 injector, it's pointless, just go mod a 12v it's cheaper, we do it for the love of the Ford supplied engine praying we will make stupid power someday.. Just my two bits..
