If you keep the cat and muffler, and don't have to have one of those can you see me now crome tips, it's not noticable. A flow through exhaust (if not provided by factory) does make a big towing difference. I know there is at least one company out there that makes a kit that uses a faux kitty ;-). I run a 4" aluminized turbo back and after 6 months I don't think many can tell the difference between 3-1/2" and 4" from 20 feet away.
