40ft flatbed with 3 I-beams for frame?
I'm looking at a used 40ft gooseneck trailer, probably 15yrs old that has 3 12" I-beams for the main frame, is this unusual? I've got a new trailer with the triple frame, just never have seen an old one with one. It's pretty cheap and just wondered if this was something to stay away from or if it's ok. Trailer seems to be in decent shape, tandem duals but needs paint and a couple tires and some light work. I'd like to jump on it for the $3500 asking, mainly just use it for hauling hay, but stumped by the older triple beam frame. Thoughts?
