I've heard of several guys that went from reman to new injectors of the same size and they said they could tell a noticeable difference between the two. Enough of a difference at least to justify the cost so that's why I was leaning towards new injectors. I won't be doing injectors for a while though so I have plenty of time to make a decision. Since I'm going with hybrids, would the 38r be able to keep up with them when they're not detuned after my rod swap? Or would the 38r be the weak link at that point and I would need to change it out? I've seen guys get 550HP out of 238/80s, 38r, and Gearhead tuning but I'm not sure if it could go higher than that. They kinda made it sound like 550HP was pushing the limits of a hybrids/38r setup and I'm not sure if that's the limit of just the injectors, just the turbo, or the limit of both? 550HP would be fine for me but I'd really like to get 600+ if I could. I'm wanting to turn this truck into a weekend toy/sled puller after I graduate college and get a new vehicle in a few years. However, I would probably change out the injectors with 300/200 or bigger injectors if I ever made it a sled pulling truck so it might be smart to go with hybrids/38r now, and then change the turbo out when I get new injectors in the future. Idk if this would be a good idea or not. I'm just throwin ideas out there. Thanks for the help so far
