I'm building a front bumper from 1" C-channel with the sides from the frame rail out angled back, there will be end plates and a top plate so the thing sticks out about 6" kind of like a tow truck bumper. I need to take a section out of the back of the one tool box to fit the exhaust pipe for my 5" stack. Need to weld in 1/2" plate for my pintle hook mount. Install the filler necks, fab up a shifter cover (I'm modifying a junk yard one). Also need to install my new cluster with tach and wire in the tach sensor. Mostly simple stuff. I've got a lot left on the 2wd RCLB truck though, can't find frame motor mounts anywhere so I've been fabbing them up. Once those are in I can finish assembling the 6.9 to drop in. I've been using just the short block to make it easier to build the mounts. I need tank senders, selector valve, batteries, flywheel and clutch yet. My neighbor is a little frustrated but I've been working on it every night after work so he can't complain too much. I could have saved a ton of time and agony had I just swapped the front frames instead of swapping suspensions.
