6.4 run away

For those of you that had this happen what did it cost you and what was all wrong? My engine is hydro locked and my oil was all full of fuel... Just wondering what it ended up costing you

Depends on the extent of the damage. Probably best to locate a salvaged truck or locate a motor for cheap.

I guess thats what i dont wanna have to do. i was hopeing to hear a few different was guys had them run away then i was gonna hope mine was the cheaper easyer way.
Im takeing it down to lube owner tommarrow nite to see what we got. I do know we were runing way to high rp after we put the dual pump on. The dashdaq went to 29,000 at wot and i never relized the thats when the dashdaq stoped reading and that my rp could and most likely was much higher so im not sure what could have broke what you think?

Killed an injector or 2 I'd bet. Those injectors can't take that kind of pressure.

I just said that as a quick, and possibly cheaper, alternative.

No agree it may come to that but is it possible to maybe swap the bad injector(s) and it may be good? maybe a piston....

Never heard of those guys. I would check the classifieds on here, Matt was selling a low mileage block cheap. I think there are prolly a few more around. Depends on how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go

Broke, so not very deep but wanna do it right. thought i had it right the first time but this things happen i guess to me everytime so not suprised.
I had looked here and the nation but cant really make a move on anything til i get jermey the truck tonight and we can see whats wrong
