By blocking both the coolant passage and the exhaust passage, all reliability issues of the EGR cooler are removed. Other kits available only block the exhaust side with 2 plates , and leave the coolant running thru the cooler, leaving the liability of the cooler springing a fluid leak there. That being said the price is not changing, $99 , made in America price stays, and all plates are billet aluminum and 304 stainless , and I offer the option for the 1/4" factory sensor or the 1/8" plate for aftermarket sensor , with no issues of the aftermarket sensor getting any false readings.
