I'm wondering since it's so consistent if there is a control issue, aka PCM shorting out or something. But then you say it restarts on spray. Hmm

He has a few diff pcms and all have the same scenario. Could be wiring going
To the pcm?

But yes, it will restart on spray, but won’t idle. The throttle has to be held at 1200 rpm and it’ll run like that anywhere from 30 seconds to a min, then it’ll die again.

Could be wiring, I know the harness is pretty new from Ford. No ebpv as the truck is T4.

Tested Lpo today and it was 50 psi at idle.

The wiring is still in the harness though, even though the pedestal isn’t there. Unless he removed it which I don’t think many people do. I know I didn’t.

I hope this is not your issue but I had these exact same symptoms when my cam gear walked forward.
It only did it once the oil temperature got to 130° or so.
It would start and run fine when it was cold but as soon as it would warm up it would die like you shut it off.
I was fiddling around trying to figure this out for nearly a month until finally the cam gear slid forward enough to barely make a scrape mark on the CPS.
I had a similar set up to you at that time, 350/200 bb76.
