I have an obs,I bought it from a friend of mine. I know the history of this truck pretty well but lately I've had nothing but bad luck with that. I bought it 2 weeks later the high pressure oil pump went out I replaced the IPR,ICP while doing the high pressure oil pump. Three days after that the turbo decided to **** the bed. I replace the turbo, in a week later the turbo is shot again. I was driving home last night in the truck just died in the middle of the road, would crank for days but would not start I got it home, and it still would not start. Unplug the ICP sensor and it still will not fire. So I waited till this morning, and it fired right up instantly. After hooking it up to my scanner in reading ICP, it seems normal. It is between 580 and 650 at idle@ operating temperature.I put a mechanical gauge on the high pressure oil pump reservoir, to see what my low pressure oil was at.cold startup was at 55 psi, operating temperature is between 20 and 24 psi. All of these numbers seem normal. I am leaning towards a low pressure oil pump issue due to the fact that I have gone through two turbos now and a high pressure oil pump already. I'm kind of hesitant to just start throwing parts at the truck, due to the fact of being laid off for the winter.it just seems extremely strange to me that it will just die out of nowhere and not fire, it was cold oil it will fire right up. I let it sit in my driveway for 2 hours idling just monitoring the gauges that I have hooked up currently and it will not die I cannot get it to reenact the issues that I've been having. I'm open to ideas and suggestions.
