Cameron and Johnny started the Baja Beach Bash as their opportunity to share their love for dirt bike riding in Baja as well as shine a light on the Rancho Santa Marta Orphanage and their efforts to provide a home for at-risk, abandoned Mexican children. 2015 marks the 7th year for this fundraising event and Bullet Proof Diesel’s 3rd year as a contributing sponsor. Each year, riders and sponsors raise money to donate to the Rancho Santa Marta Orphanage in San Vicente. The Rancho Santa Marta Orphanage is an extraordinary facility that not only provides safe harbor for neglected children, but also supports children with special needs. The orphanage’s educational programs include a preschool, elementary and junior high schools with an integrated program for mentally challenged children in addition to a two-week summer trade school that offers vocational training for teenagers from other orphanages and surrounding communities. Last year set a record amount of giving, with $40,000 being raised for the trip. Bullet Proof Diesel has matched funds every year in participation and will be increasing their maximum contribution from $10,000 to $25,000 this year due to the incredible support this event has already received in obtaining their goal of $60,000.
