How is this thing supposed to act? The fuel gauge works, but it does not go to empty when you shut the key off. Is that normal?
Also where does the pcm get ect from? After driving fairly hard for a few miles, the gauge was hardly in the normal and ae says it was only 70 degrees. When cold it was 37 and that was 20 degrees cooler than ambient.
I guess that could just be the sensor, but seems strange the fuel level stays put when you shut key off. Also the voltmeter likes to move around every once in a while. Never did it when I had ae hooked up, though. New alternator installed was originally 14.4-5 and today it was 14.1-2 according to ae and an actual voltmeter. Batteries are a week old.
