It was pretty straightforwards, just messy and a pain in the ass. I jacked the truck up in the air for it, and removed the left front tire. Drained oil, removed filter, then removed the block heater to drain the coolant. That part is messy, it's holding back a few gallons of coolant, so you're going to get wet. The 3 rear bolts are very easy to remove. For the front two, on the top bolt, I got a 2' long extension and went at it from the wheel well. For the bottom bolt, I used a 3" extension and got it from the bottom (slid in on a creeper, feet towards the rear of the truck). Didn't remove or touch the power steering bracket. The cooler slid out towards the rear, very easily I might add. Plenty of room. Pounded the ends off, removed old gaskets, yada yada yada. Reinstalling the ends kinda sucked. Lots of guys say they use body weight to install. I'm 5'9, 160lbs. They weren't budging with me leaning on them, so I used a combo of the rachet strap method and a 3lb plastic hammer to keep it going on straight. Getting the front bolts in sucked, as there isn't much room to maneuver, and being short, I had to keep myself leaning forwards. Ah well, good ab work out.
