[QUOTE="SPE, post: 567592, member: 4007"] We just finished up a set of heads and Figured some people would like to see what goes into are 6.7 stage 2 heads. The build begins with a set of good heads we Hand blend and remove valve shrouding after the seats then we abrasive flow machine (AFM) them and the intake manifold/ valve covers to match and transition. We then remove and install new hardened seats ( perf 2 angle cut), Skim surface the heads to an RA10 finish, 3 angle cut a new set of valves (rockwell tested) and cryo treat,Reset valve recession, and Install new valve spring that are tailored to the customers needs. CFM gains are substantial, normally theres a 32 to 36cfm gain on the intake and exhaust side. These heads are not completely finished in some of these pics, There just some cool pics so that people can see what its about.
