I've seen tanks similar to the RDS tank made for Excursion VO conversions for under $500. It has 30ish gals of usable fuel and puts my range well over 1000mi with both tanks. The tank mounts 'mid-ship' between the frame, the driveshaft, the t-case and rear axle. There are notches in the frame-side to clear the x-members - otherwise its a large shoe-box shape that hangs down to same elevation as the skid plates. Look for custom boat gas tank builder or any alum fab shop and get some prices. The nice thing about large fuel capacity is not having to stop at a truck stop all the time. We take our potty breaks at rest areas and roadside oddities. (of course we carry up to ANOTHER 100gals of WVO with us on road trips - that whole paying for diesel must be a real drag!!! :poke:)
