Built this a while back have it installed on my 79 Bronco. It’s a piece of 6” 1/4” thick steel pipe with a recessed cap on one end to protect the air fittings. Yes it is a bit heavy but if I need to refill a tire I can. Right now Only use a small portable pump while off road. Need some ideas for a good onboard compressor.
Forgot applied a good coat of primer and then coated it with Rustoleum spray on bed coating. I like that stuff on these projects apply it thin it feels like powder coating, get it on heavy and it’s tough as nails.
