airbag system and seat belt

Here rescently iv been getting my airbag light on and off intermittently. It flashes 2 times then 7 times. I looked up the codes and it says 27 is more than likely a blown bulb in the assenger side air bad switch but the light still burns just fine and stays on when I turn it to off. Cant seem to figure what its deal is. Also when I pull the seat belt it doesnt latch like its supposed to like in a sudden stop. Any idea ???

Pull the codes with a scanner. The airbag systems on these trucks are extremely simple.

I did it says the light but the light works and it only does it ever now and then

Then it probably is the switch but its an intermittent problem right now. Does the light on the cluster stay on all the time?
