Getting ready to install 6.5" rockford t1's in all 4 positions, i plan on some minor sound deadening mat and dei cups , for now ill just power em off the h/u (pioneer avh5700bhs)

But i also want a sub later so ill likely want my components amp'd... Anyone ever "speed wired" a 4ch amp to behind the h/u then use factory wire from behind the head unit with the now amped wires connected to the factory speaker wires going out to the speakers? Is the factory wiring heavy enough ?

(If that makes sense at all)

I did this with the speakers in the front door as there is no simple way of getting wires thru the doors. Using a 4 channel alpine amp with something like 75 watts rms for over 4 years without any problems. The rear was easier to just run new wires directly from the amp to the speakers. No noticeable difference between the front and back, but the sound improvement is incredible over just a pioneer hu.
