We are using pressure solenoids to control OD and lock up which seems to be working well (most of the time). Lately the truck is hanging in 1st and wont shift to 2nd unless you go WOT, but then it wont shift to 3rd unless you let off the throttle a bit, this seems to happen after you go from reverse to drive but that isn't always the case. Are these symptoms of a sticking valve body, or an improperly adjusted TV cable? Is there a baseline cable adjustment? I would assume every trans is different. We are about to start turning up the power a bit but don't want to smoke a trans due to bad tuning or adjustment. Any help or insight would be appreciated!
