I'm driving a 2002 F250 V10 with 197,000 miles as my company truck now. Runs OK but I never really haul anything with it. Gets about 12 at the best. I did learn about the spark plug blow out issue rather quickly one morning. After doing all the research, I's say people are afraid to tighten the plugs, then thay come loose, wear out the threads and blow out. So one of my ticks was a loose plug that blew out later. I have broken studs on the manifolds too. There is a drilling jig made for drilling the studs. I'm getting one. I think there is a lifter or vailve train issue coming up too though, when it is cold it tick / taps a while. Seems worse the older the oil is. It did start all last winter even at -24 not plugged in so I'm happy with it for a truck people were afraid to go on a 200 mile trip in when I ended up with it!
