I'm putting this up to try and expose this problem to nitto and warn others to stay away from them. So my experience with 420s has been awful. These tires are junk. I have now replaced my 3rd tire out of 4 due to the side wall splitting. I do not tow with my truck nor do I have any track time with these tires. No burnouts or anything like that. These tires only have 2500 miles on them and honestly make me scared to drive my truck. I picked the 420s because my truck was finally at the hp level where I need a tire to hook in hopes to get into the drag racing scene. 1st tire. So at first everything was great. They did exactly what I thought they would. Hooked. One day while cleaning my truck I noticed the sidewall splitting in several spots. Some said it was on nitto others said on me. So I bought another just to not deal with a warranty. 2nd tire. Not even 2 weeks go by and not even 2k on the set and I'm putting u joints in my truck and I notice this. By this point I'm starting to get a little mad because my tire guy has been on the phone with nitto and they are refusing to warranty it so I'm thinking I just got screwed on these tires. 3rd tire So that brings me to today where I'm supposed to be picking up another new tire when the tire guy text me saying call him asap. Never a good sign. I call and come to find out the side wall split as soon as they mounted it. This is my warning message to stay the hell away from these tires. Some guys have had great luck with them even making 1000+ hp but I'm warning everyone i know to stay away and I'm throwing my set away due to what's happened.
