IIRC it takes an 11/16 socket, and they are reverse thread. I use a rag to hold the tubinewheel still with my figers, and you might need to put a little heat on the tip of the wheel where the nut flats are because there is blue loctite on the threads. Installation is the reverse of removal, and definatly take your time. Let me know if there's anything else you have questions on that beast.
