However the system is apart due to the pump dying, making a few other changes and the valve was easy to add. Right now, I think I'll put the valve on the exit of the post pump filter since the fuel rails are the high point and the filter ports are at the tank high point. (These filters are not mounted much higher and are actually attached to seat frame fasteners below the cab tucked in behind the t-case.) Thought is that when you crack a filter and introduce air, it should back drain toward the tank straw and seek the level of the tank in the system. The Dahl 150 also has an air bleed to help also. At the end of the day, with no other issues, it will be a couple of years before I deal with filters again since I put few miles on the truck.
