I need to chat with some folks about it too. My hazing has been significantly reduced within my last few updates, but the choppiness is still there. I see videos of Blowby's truck idling with those gigantic injectors, and I'm instantly jealous of how smooth it is. I test different tunes, but only at two power levels - a milder "tow" tune that is about 310 hp at the rear wheels (dyno'ed), and my other tune that has the same fueling as when I drag raced my truck. I mainly drive on the higher HP tune only now-a-days, and tow with it as well. I have the lower HP "tow" tune that I switch to when my wife drives, simply because she doesn't like the extra power. If she didn't drive my truck at all, I would probably only have one power level at this point. I do have a separate drag racing tune as well, simply because the shift pressures are pretty crisp compared to a daily driver setting. And I can't stand driving around when the transmission tries to break my neck on every upshift. Works fine for the strip, but that's it. All I really do is mild tweaks to those tunes. I make small adjustments, and test them out. I work on idle quality of course, as well as smoke control, EGT control, and making linear power with the throttle pedal. 6" lift, and tires are 325/60r20's. I'm also running 4.30 gears.
