better late than never...... I had MBQ in a 99 that I bought a few years ago. They sounded decent but lacked some umph for a system designed around no sub. I only had it for a few months before I accidentally flipped it for a profit. My bad for never updating this thread. The 02 in question ended up getting Infinity Kappa 100.9 and Perfect Q. Spec wise they were pretty close and I got one, decided I wanted two and the PQ was the only thing available. The PDX5 sub channel ended up being 300rmsx1, both the subs were 300-600 rms. I made a box that barely fit, just at 1sqft sealed, so a little small but it worked well. I later upgraded to a separate sub amp PDXM6, 600 rmsx1, probably a little under powered still but it sounded good. The SD are gone and I now have an F150... 🤷♂️ It will get some treatments, I still have the subs so I may try to reuse them before I upgrade to something different. If they fit great, if not then I'm eyeing some SD audio as the best bang for the buck option w/ a 4.5" mounting depth.
