I tried a 8mm 6pt socket to get the pinion flange bolts out and they were getting rounded off. I used those new craftsman sockets that are a bunch of points, splined jobbies. They were rounding them off worse. Pb blaster abound, heat, heat, and more heat they werent coming out. I grabbed my Husky brand(home cheapo house brand) 8mm nut driver and put it onto the troublesome bolts. Grabbex the handle with a channelock pliers and slowly turned those mothers out. If ya get fancy snapon ones the have a spot to put a wrench on their screwdrivers/nutdrivers. [/QUOTE]
