Buzzing sound

30-45 minute ride. Pulled into store and heard a buzzing sound coming from driver side front or up front area. Sounds like a light that buzzes or bug zapper. Lasted 15-25 seconds then cut out. Anybody???

most likely electric solonoid that controls vacuum to the wastgate is weak. bleeds off vacuum slowly and causes the buzzing your hearing. if you disconnect the vacuum line from the vacuum pump just to the drivers side of the air intake while its making noise it should stop if its the solonoid.

Hit the brakes and the noise will go away

I hit the brakes and it doesn't stop. It does it now while running?? I romped on her good the other day in hot tune and everything went well. No loss in any areas. I did see the thread on the solenoid buzzing being normal. Dealer said its ok so I had them put in in writing along with if this causes any other problem it's on them so I'm good to go. Thanks.

Think I have a update / idea lol. Awhile back I was pulled over for no front plate here in Nj. So I was given a warning and let go. I put them plate on a few days later. Now before this I never heard the truck make the buzzing sound but after I put the plate and plate holder on it started. So the other day I removed plate and truck hasn't made the sound since. Could this be an air flow issue ? I know it sounds stupid but does anyone with the sound also have a front plate ?
