can you use 87-91 pedals in a 97?

can you use 87-91 clutch pedal assembly in a 97 f250? im doing a manual swap and I can get them for free with the master and slave.

Others may have more detailed info, but having both and having rebuilt both, I'm pretty sure the pedal box is different. However, following a lot of hydroboost threads lately (on oilburners too) and there has been mention of the pedals them selves interchanging. If you can get it for free go ahead, folks on here trade and help each other a lot.

One of my friends with a '96, put a "go" pedal out of an international bus on his said it just bolted right on. It was like stainless steel with an international logo on it. looked pretty cool hadnt seen it before. I have never been able to find a similar pedal myself
