I bought mine from david at di. They are awesome. Still in the box... Best mod I haven't had to do yet. He matched prices of other vendors and was great to deal with.

Unfortunately. 410 is EXTREMELY below the ARP MAP price of 498. I wish I could help you out more, but I can't risk losing that vendor. Good luck man.

PS 375 is a joke. People like that are ruining the market. Remember fellows, once everyone starts getting a deal, noone gets a deal after a while.

Doesn't MAP stand for "Minimum Advertised Price". You as a dealer can sell the parts for whatever you choose. Even below cost if you see fit. You just can't post that price on a website. Let me guess you paid $468 for the studs in your personal truck also... didn't think so.

Actually, I studded my trucks when I didnt work here, and I paid strict MAP pricing on everything. Its how we run business. My shot was at the link, this guy sent me, that showed a set listed at 407.xx plus shipping. People who do that crap, like some certain companies me and some of the other vendors discussed, are ruining the market. I completely believe in giving a deal sometimes, it keeps things exciting, whose not excited to get a good deal.

That being said, when every member on here, wants 6.0 studs, and choose to buy them on a site thats clearly violating MAP Policy set by ARP, it defeats the purpose of us paying money to be vendors on here correct?

Its just a kick in the teeth to us guys that play by the rules, that people who have no standards, they dont care if they make 200 bucks or 20, as long as they get the sale.

I would agree with what you have said Jared. I didn't realize from your post that the OP had sent you a link regarding the ARP's. I'm all for MAP, it is designed to benefit the dealers and companys making the products to keep an effective cost/profit margin.

Precisely, everyone has to be able to make money. If they dont, NOONE makes money, then all the companies people like to frequent go under.. and noone like to see business doors close.

In other words. Support your sponsors. They are the ones you should be able to depend on for questions and information. They have to make a profit. If they don't make a profit they will not be in business. Buying them from outside the forums you frequent takes money away from the people that are supporting your forum addiction. Yes everyone wants a deal and a lot of times we read the horror stories derived from them. You may pay a little more to buy them from one of these guys but look at what you are supporting with that extra few dollars. Also you have to worry if you have a issue since if the parts were not sold by a authorised vendor at a authorised price they CAN choose not to honor any warranty. With all the cheap copies made now days I would choose the piece of mind.

So I had a guy stop down several months back. Wanted a cheap exhaust on his 6.4. I explained how straight piping he needs a tuner. Gave him a price. Thought he could do it cheaper. So he goes home and cuts his muffler, cat and dpf off. Then finds the truck runs like crap. Calls and wants a tuner to get it to run right. Give him a price. Decided he can do it cheaper. So he gets a tuner. Tuner doesn't fix the truck as he bought one that wouldnt eliminate dpf sensors completely. Calls me, wants me to fix it now. Give him a price for getting the right tuner, and he wants a get his exhaust changed. Ends up paying the almost double.

Point of this is sometimes you get alot more when you pay a little more. What happens when you buy the cheapest studs available, get the whole job done and you run into some issue, like it wont start? Instead of being able to call the basement vendor you bought it from and get some help, you have to ask your question on a forumn and hope you get the right answer. Vendors make a living, support families with these businesses, they dont make money talking on the phone to someone who is all about saving $40.
