I pulled the trans and tcase out as one the first time. Which was a horrible idea. Separate them first. Let the back of the trans down and get a long extension and pull the top four bolts. Jack the trans back up and then pull the lower two. Get under it, grab and pull. I will say a harbor freight trans jack is worth the money though. Made the job a lot easier the second time around.
