So my truck will not start. But it cranks all day long til the batteries are dead. I have scanned for codes nothing comes back. Passes buzz test, everything seems to be ok. I pulled and inspected the lower oil pressure pump.

It was running just fine and then all of a sudden it shut off like someone turned the key off. I was cruising down the road at 55mph when it happened. I am at a lost and not much money to take it to a shop.

I just replaced the engine. Which I had to do because of an injector failing.

I had the engine running, and now I am back to a broken truck and I am getting frusterated.

my tach has never moved while cranking even when it was brand new. It is a 2002. It did not spit or sputter or nothing when it died. It just was like someone turned it off.

Where you located? If you were close by I could swing by and put my scan gauge on it and see what its doing while cranking. But the chances of you be close is one in a million.

Oohhh huh this is a strange one. Well if the icp and ipr all look good while cranking, you sure you have fuel?
You have fuel bowl or do you have that deleted?

Oil pick up tube? If it just shut off I say it's an electrical problem. Thinking ignition, electrical for the injectors, fuel pump. Are you sure it has fuel?

Fuel Pump is an Airdog2 wired seperately then the factory fuse box. I still need to get the radiator in and see what the icp is during cranking. But it aint the warmest in Michigan.

Open the water drain on the fuel filter. Mine wouldn't start the other day right. Ended up having a bad injector o ring.
