I need to replace the crankshaft sensor on my 2012. My question is, does anyone know if the bolt on the factory sensor has provisions to hold the bolt in place once its loosened up? The new sensor does but I'm just sketched out and don't want to drop the bolt down the bellhousing pulling the old one out since I can't see it and just have a small hole to work in. Thanks in advance

I believe it has a plastic piece holding it in. Go get a magnetic 8mm socket and use that. That way the chances of dropping it are really small

Any tips to get that bastard of a sensor back in? I've been fighting this thing for over a hr! Never seen something so damn difficult!
