Message: [QUOTE="BlueWaffle, post: 590154, member: 16"] creampie is up and running. we drove it around for a while to check for leaks but we didn't beat on it too hard. the transmission belongs to the new owner of the waffle so we need to get them swapped and it was re-learning. it also has a weak dd solenoid so i'll pop a new one in there. once i got it into DD and gave it real throttle.....holy sheet. this thing FLYYYYYYS. an aggressive takeoff from a stop is going to be pretty much impossible. even just putting around, i couldn't really get into boost until it was in direct. it chirps the tires loose with only about half throttle at 30 mph. i drove my other compound CC for a while but this is a whole nother league of fast. the sump on my fuel tank is leaking like a sieve so i need to address that. the tire also hit the downpipe when the suspension flexed but a little lower offset and a shorter tire will take care of that. other than that, it runs like a top. 420's go on tomorrow and other cosmetic mods start this week.
