Basically Turbonetics wanted to get out of making these kits, and Wes was already working on something very similar, so he took a trip to SoCal and bought their designs and brought back their remaining inventory, molds, etc. He's made some improvements to the kit (some posters have noted slight differences from the kit on my truck and their Turbonetics kit). So, if you want a "Turbonetics" kit, they're no longer made/available, but the DFI Performance kit has many of the same core parts/design. Hope that clarifies things.
