Does this fuel pump sound noisy to you?

Brand new Bosch SD fuel pump from CarQuest. I had air bleed issue with my FM100 that led to cavitation and killed my last pump. Got that fixed, no bubbles in the fuel anymore. I primed the system before putting power to the pump. It just doesn't have a completely steady hum to it. Those little clicks you hear are not background noise, they come from the pump. Granted this is just a free flowing test not making any pressure but I don't recall my last pump making anything but a nice steady hum.

I showed the vid to the CarQuest manager and he ordered me another new pump. I admit to being paranoid as I've had my share of fuel system troubles lately and I'm sick of laying on the cold ground soaked in fuel.

I totally dont blame you. I feel the same way w/ swapping turbos on one of my other rigs... poor tuning lead to constantly blown turbos, so when I finally bought a large turbo that could handle the tune, I still refused to floor it for 2-3mos after worrying about blowing it... laying on the cold pavement dropping the IC lines from below... cold oil leaking all over my face... and busted knuckles drying to drop the flange bolts from up top. It's a nightmare.
