Yes, it may take a few tunes to get it right at your elevation. Hell I was one of the first ones to run Elite's dual fueler, and let me tell you that was a nightmare because it ran a different pump than everyone else's kit. I bet I had 5 or more different tunes from Tadd, and probably 7 from Morgan both trying to get it not to go into limp mode. Morgan figured that out, but then it was running extremely high rail pressure, to the point of leaking fuel at the injector connection. Morgan got that in line, and I still get a code about once a day that doesn't affect driving. I never really talked to him about that because I was so happy my truck was running good for once that I have been living with it. I would give him a chance to work his magic, and come back in a month and tell us what you think then. It's not really fair to judge it just yet, since he said he didn't know about the altitude and that it was over fueling. I promise you I was sick the first time I drove my truck and it immediately went into limp mode! But Morgan got it worked out, and I have enjoyed lots and lots of miles with 700 horse at the touch of a button. Also, I tow 15k a lot with this 68, and I just turn it down to stock and it doesn't hardly smoke at all but still has good power. I really think you will be happy when tuned right. FWIW I'm surprised smoke was a problem for you since it's so fitting with your user name!:D
