So now it's round 3, but this time the leak is worse. Dealer found no issues last time, said it was residual fuel on the frame. No problem, I picked it up and drove it. Last weekend, I noticed a slight drip when the truck was off, but figured it was still residual since we haven't gotten any rain here. Today, wife and BIL are in the truck and we're on our way home from OCMD. About 40 miles from home, I get "Reduced Engine Power" on the dash and the raw fuel smell coming from the vents. I called ahead to Ford and dropped the truck off. As we exited, I noticed fuel immediately on my AMP step, wheels, all along the side of the truck. Fuel was noticeably dripping from under the motor. Service advisor seems to think its the fuel pump this time, said the same issue happened to his '14. My question is, should I pursue this further with higher ups? It's the 3rd time my truck has been back for a fuel issue, and now I'm going to be out some more $$ to have the truck cleaned and detailed. It's getting frustrating and I feel like I can't trust the truck anymore. It's left me stranded once, and almost did it again. Advice or thoughts are appreciated.
