I've got a major fuel leak. When the trucks running it's pouring off the back of the engine on the passenger side. What is back there that can leak fuel. It's leaking bad. It made a puddle about 12" across in about 45 seconds on high idle.

It could be many things since a fuel leak in the engine valley will drain down the rear passenger side of the block. As mentioned above, the fuel restriction sensor is a common leaker and on a 96, it should be on the Fuel Pressure Regulator block on the driver's side of the fuel bowl (on the 94-95's it was near the bottom of the filter bowl on the backside). If that is it, it can be replaced with a 1/8 NPT pipe plug (just don't overtighten it!). Other things that could leak:

Filter Bowl Lid
Regulator to Bowl joint
The bowl itself (bottom rots out)
The fuel pump (weep hole on the base)
The fuel pump banjo bolt
Hoses to pump/bowl/regulator
Fittings on the rear of heads
Fuel Rail endplugs

Cheers!

It ended up being the fuel pump. I pulled the intake spyder and started the truck and you could see fuel pouring out of the weep hole on the bottom of the pump.

Glad you found it! I also forgot to mention the fuel bowl drain valve, Water-in-Fuel sensor joint, and Fuel Heater joint can all leak as well. Cheers!
