Just would not clear otherwise. I couldn't figure out how to get the fuel line fittings out of the sending unit / pickup. I ended up using a couple small flathead screwdrivers to flip the little tabs inside of the fittings, out so the lines would pull off the barb on the hard lines on the pickup. A couple of them little tabs look buggered up now that I've got the tank clear. Can these fittings even be re-used? What kind of fitting makes up to the hard lines that run along the frame rail to the selector valve? How the heck are you supposed to remove them anyway? What would be wrong with using 3/8" and 5/16" fuel injector hose and good clamps in place of those goofy fittings? All help appreciated. [/QUOTE]
