Hey guys! I need some help. My truck is in the shop to replace a right front bearing. There is also a rattle that sounds like its coming from the passenger side(front). The bearing definately needed to be replaced and the shop says the rattle could be "stabilizer linkage" and that the rubber grommets need to be replaced. I dont know anything about this linkage business. So Im here to learn. I want some help before I drop anymore money. Thanks! :)

GO!

Sway bar end links, guessing the truck is 4x4? That wheel hub is super easy to replace, its crazy what they charge for it

I assume the shop is talking about the sway bar end link bushing, you can replace them with some energy suspension bushings
and here is a pic of mine with the hub off, its simple to replace in case you want to tackle it on your own next time

I'm sure you two can do it. But if i were you i'd make an instructional how-to video of both of you doing the work. Do you have any idea the money you could make? Sounds creepy, but it's the truth!

Well, just a thought.
And I thought that it was worn out bushings on the brackets at the axle that did this. I did not know it was actually the links. Would the bracket bushings contribute to the problem? I would assume they would to some extent.

Its an easy job, I pulled my front sway bar because the rattling was bugging me. Haven't had one in awhile either.
