Here you go https://youtu.be/NVB8_LvqgyI We were at a baby shower and I was trying to talk everyone into going. Then it rained like crazy. But talked 7 peeps into joining us. Got there a little late as the open class was lining up. My friend, who's in that class, said sign up. So I did and a good thing too, because just as workstock was ready to line up the sky opened up and dumped on us. Would have been a bummer if we'd waited all night only to be rained out. We scrambled to let the air out and strap the front end down, but was ready when my turn came up. So I got one pull with some heavily modified trucks. Needless to say I didn't win, but my friend did! I raced to 3rd, but they bumped me to 4th because I was 375lbs overweight. It only had 1/4 tank of fuel and we emptied everything but the baby gifts on the ground. Silver did what she does best, got down and ate. I started off in 4low 3rd gear, mashed the brake to the floor and fed it throttle until it overcame the brakes. Pretty quickly had to shift to 4th and the rest is history. Silver was still diggin hard when the red flag went up, but that sled was really digging too. It is such a rush!!! I was literally shaking when it was over. Maybe I'll have new tires for the next one, these are in the last 1/3rd of their life. Guys there said that didn't hurt me, but I'm not buying it. And I forgot to air up the bags, by the time I remembered I was lining up and that tiny compressor didn't have time. Oops. Was all set for workstock, but got rained out. What are y'all doing about weight in these pigs? Empty and nearly out of fuel and it still too heavy. I find it hard to believe the cap weighs 400lbs.
