Have about 1000 miles on this new turbo and it is working good. In fact I like it so much I have decided to build another one for my F350. This one will be a little different than the first. Starting out I will use a 68mm turbine instead of the 70mm. Thought about going 70mm and machining the housing out but I don't feel like shipping exhaust housings around. The second turbo is going into a "work and play" truck so spool is more important than the first turbo. Planning on keeping stock injectors on this truck and tune it accordingly for towing and messing around. What I am wondering is if there would be any gain going to a 66/88mm compressor wheel over stock or would it actually be a loss? My thoughts are, machine out the compressor housing and backer, use one of the 11+0 66mm billet wheels. On the other hand I can just install a RR 4+4 60mm wheel and know it has the lightest wheel on the market. To me this seems like the best bet to have a fast spooling turbo but still have enough top end for towing etc. Planning on running the .84ar housing also. Thanks
