I had the trans setting in SL1 early lock up high shift points while towing. It shifts into OD around 68, so the rpms stay up while you get moving. While towing through the mountains i was grossing around 23k. i towed our kabota m105s the other day, it weighs 8650 dry, so with atachments it was about 10k. Kept it in Mild and it never missed a beat. That was in normal shift point mode. I also kept the truck in tow haul the entire time, it shifted perfect. Just don't hit the breaks to hard in tow haul, when it sences that it gears the truck down, and if you hit em to hard it'll gear down a couple gears to aid in stopping.
