I agree man. You just want to hear someone experienced like you say "heck, don't sweat it" but the real gear heads I know have all said the same... I'm ordering a new head from Powerstroke help down in GA, will wait and do it all then. I've one more quick one for you if you got a minute..before I do get the apr's installed I've been cautious about what tunes I run, so I settled on the Livewire ts 1505p and run just the canned heat and was pretty happy with it for a year, bit of course if it's not broke I'm gonna screw it up every time. I didn't have a flare at all running regular tranny tune with the on the fly performance, but I almost got spanked by a late model power wagon 4th thru 6th (almost) so I decided to run tranny performance and ever since I get a flare to a flutter falling into 6. Even if I run tow and haul on the shifter. I've got it 4" turbo back and it's always sounded as good as I've ever heard but now when it dives into 6 you can tell transfer and tranny are stressed as ETT goes to 175 and it's hard to get it back to 5. I don't think the wot settings will help but was wondering about maybe tacking a few pounds of pressure or cv lockup. There's another group of setting labeled tap to shift but this is all above my skill sets and I can't afford to melt this tranny, although I will say I've not seen a tougher transmission than those factory trannys through those few years. Didn't mean to go so long but can tell you're up on this. I get deer in headlights when asking most anyone else. Many thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
